Coach Training Workshop

Wednesday, November 7, 2007
8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Walker Center, 144 Hancock St, Newton, MA

The workshop is designed to introduce you to coaching and give you the tools to begin working with people using coaching skills in your existing work or to help you decide, with minimal investment, if coaching is a career you want to transition into. Either way, you will have a rich, personal experience will that bring new energy to you personally and professionally.

You Will Learn:

  • What coaching is and what it isn't.
  • Seven fundamental coaching skills.
  • How coaching can be a powerful set of new skills and techniques to add to your toolkit or a career alternative.
  • What it takes to be successful at coaching others.

Who Should Attend: Consultants, therapists, counselors and other healthcare practitioners, educators, managers, small business owners looking for ways to work more effectively with employees, individuals in career transition who want to incorporate coaching into an existing skills set as consultants (e.g. coaching new retail store owners)—anyone who wants to empower others.

Past participants have described the training as "transformational," "personally life-changing but also extremely practical." "Marilyn's coaching workshop helped me understand what coaching can really do and 'hit the ground running' with confidence."

Included in the workshop will be a half-day follow-up session on Thursday, November 15 from 9 AM to 12:30 PM, and one half-hour telephone follow-up.

Cost: $495, of which $250 will be applied to our 24-week follow-up teleclass training.

CEUs (10 hours) applied for (in conjunction with Commonwealth Seminars).
