Professional Seminars and Training for Human Service Professionals

We offer workshops for therapists, human service professionals and others to learn coaching skills they can integrate into existing work or use to begin a new career. Our basic workshop is offered as a one and one-half day program with 10 CEs offered in conjunction with Commonwealth Educational Seminars. The training is followed by twenty-four hours of teleclass training.

The one and one-half day program, usually a pre-requisite for the teleclass training, is also available on audiotape through NASW of Massachusetts under Personal and Professional Coaching I & II. Credits may also be used towards a portfolio certification through the International Coach Federation.

Attendees of our programs have gone on to develop their own coaching businesses specializing in a range of areas, including relationship coaching, relocation coaching and executive coaching. They have also brought the skills to a Veteran's Administration hospital, school to work programs, and chronic disease programs for children and teens, and has submitted a grant to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) — possibly the first of its kind— demonstrating that coaching can be a powerful and positive tool and a natural fit for human service professionals.

Professional Development/Mentoring Group for Coaches
This group will meet weekly for 60 minutes. It is open to anyone who has completed a basic introduction to coaching, is ready to commit to building their clientele and wants:

• Ongoing support.
• Help with marketing and developing a practice.
• Supervision/consultation on your clients from an MCC that may be applied toward coach certification.

Fees for this program: $200 per month (for five months) or $900 paid in full (prepaid).
