Coach Marilyn Edelson named finalist for International Coach Federation of New England’s “Coach of the Year” honors.

 

DATELINE: Newton, MA, April 14, 2014

 

Marilyn Edelson never sits still. An accomplished plein air landscape painter as well as coach, author, speaker, mentor coach, teacher and trainer, she is also a contributor to Remarkable and Real: Remarkable Questions and Real Possibilities for the Second Half of Life, chronicles of 13 top coaches on “3rd agers,” edited by Gary Jay and Dorian Mintzer. She is currently working on the 2nd edition of her book, Values-based Coaching:  A Guide for Social Workers and Other Human Service Professionals.

 

Her most recent achievement came when Edelson was named a finalist for the International Coach Federation of New England’s Leonard 2014 Coach of the Year Awards.

 

The Leonard Awards give members of the New England Chapter of the International Coach Foundation (ICFNE) the opportunity to recognize their peers in four different coaching categories: Business Coaching, Career Coaching, Life Coaching and Executive Coaching. Marilyn Edelson is a finalist in the Career Coaching category.

All ICFNE coaches are eligible to be nominated. ICFNE encourages its members to nominate coaches based on “demonstrated mastery with their coaching through various outlets including their clients, workshops, and service to their colleagues and the community.”  Winners will be announced at the ICFNE’s 4TH Annual 2014 Gratitude Awards Gala, to be held in Westborough, MA on June 16, 2014
